The Breville the Force Gauge Tamper™ is a precision espresso tamper designed to help create more consistent coffee pucks by regulating tamping force and keeping the tamp level. Its internal spring-loaded mechanism allows you to set tamping pressure between 15.4 and 22 lb, helping reduce variation from shot to shot.
A built-in leveling plate helps keep the tamper flat against the coffee bed, while the combination of 304 stainless steel and a genuine walnut handle gives the tool a durable, premium feel. The Force Gauge Tamper™ is available in both 54 mm and 58 mm sizes to suit different portafilter systems.
