The ECM Mechanika MAX Espresso Machine is a compact, PID-controlled heat exchanger espresso machine built for home baristas who want advanced temperature management, powerful steaming, and the convenience of a rotary pump in a narrow footprint.
At just 10.8 inches wide, the Mechanika MAX combines an E61 brew group with a 1.9L stainless steel heat exchanger boiler, a quiet rotary pump, and flexible water operation through either its 3L removable reservoir or a direct water-line connection.
A major feature of the Mechanika MAX is its advanced PID system, which can regulate boiler behavior using temperature information from the brew group. This allows more precise control of brewing conditions than a traditional heat exchanger system. The PID also functions as a shot timer and provides access to programmable brew settings, maintenance reminders, ECO mode, pre-infusion controls, and automatic weekday/weekend on/off schedules.
Spring-loaded joystick steam and hot-water controls, a commercial-style 58mm portafilter system, and a no-burn articulated steam wand round out a machine designed to deliver prosumer-level espresso performance while remaining practical for residential kitchens.
