The Normcore Heavy Coffee Tamper is a substantial, precision-focused espresso tamper designed to help create dense, even coffee pucks with less effort.
Weighing approximately 523 g, it uses its added mass to provide a solid, controlled tamp while maximizing basket coverage to help reduce uneven edge extraction. The ripple-pattern base creates a textured indentation across the puck surface, supporting more even water distribution and helping reduce channeling.
The tamper is available in 53.3 mm and 58.5 mm sizes and is compatible with different Normcore tamper bases. Two height-adjustment rings are also included so you can tailor the setup to your preferred workflow.
