The Normcore Needle Distributor Tool V3 - Planetary Version is an advanced espresso puck preparation tool designed to improve coffee distribution through a multidirectional stirring system.
Its planetary mechanism uses 15 fine needles arranged into 5 independently rotating groups. As the tool is pressed and rotated, each needle group spins while orbiting the basket, helping reach more of the coffee bed, break up clumps, reduce edge buildup, and create more uniform puck density before tamping.
A stepless depth adjustment allows the stirring depth to be tailored to different baskets, while the replaceable needle system makes the tool serviceable over time.
